Keeping ancestral art alive.

Wissada is an invitation to travel through vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and unique shapes inspired by Moroccan culture.
Flamboyant, floral, or minimalist, each cushion radiates emotion and transforms any space. Every piece is born from patience and dedication, with dozens of hours of hand embroidery by women artisans.

Each region of Morocco carries its own signature and technique of embroidery, known in Arabic as tarz.
Through their stitches, entire chapters of heritage come to life.

TARZ EL GHORZA

Each region of Morocco has its own embroidery style, but the Fès stitch, known as Tarz El Ghorza, is unique in its perfect symmetry. The front and back of the fabric are indistinguishable.
This requires exceptional precision to achieve such mirrored perfection. In Fez, embroidery is executed without any preliminary drawing. It is a counted-thread technique based on vertical and horizontal stitches.

TARZ EL RBATI

In Rabat embroidery, a play of polychromy is essential, alternating strong and soft tones, enhanced by a unique light effect created by the silk thread known as sabra.
Sabra, a plant-based fiber sourced from local agave, is celebrated for its delicate softness and natural sheen, with a satin-like finish that gives every embroidered piece a subtle, luminous glow.
