ABOUT THE BRAND
Wissada was born from a deep desire to celebrate the elegance, originality, and authenticity of Moroccan embroidery. This ancestral art, crafted exclusively by women, that is slowly fading away, yet deserves to be revealed to the world.
Each region of Morocco carries its own signature and technique of embroidery.
More than just decoration, each stitch is a symbol of identity, heritage, and feminine expression.
This collection pays tribute mainly to the traditions of Fez and Rabat, two cities renowned for their refinement and unique mastery, where every thread tells a story of patience, artistry, and timeless beauty.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Meryem was born and raised in Fez, captivated by objects that carry a soul: fabrics, colors, and textures that tell a story. As a child, she would gaze at Moroccan embroidered tablecloths and cushions as one admires a painting, mesmerized by their delicacy and timeless beauty.
After several years in Paris, she returned to Morocco inspired by the handmade crafts she discovered abroad, with a desire to honor her own heritage and celebrate the women who keep this art alive.
Meryem began by designing her first collection of cushions, chosen as the natural messengers of this craft. To her, a cushion is more than a decorative object: it brings warmth, light, and character to a space. It has the quiet power to transform a room and evoke emotion.
Through Wissada, she aims to make Moroccan embroidery travel and gradually expand this creative universe beyond cushions, allowing this art to express itself in new forms, textures, and stories.
